Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of our service department at Subaru Stamford. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality customer service, efficient operation of the service department, and achieving financial targets through effective team management.

You will lead a team of service technicians and advisors, collaborating with other departments to provide a seamless and exceptional service experience for our customers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the service department, including scheduling, workflow management, and customer service.
  • Hire, train, and supervise service technicians and advisors to ensure a highly skilled and efficient team.
  • Monitor and analyze department performance, implementing strategies to achieve financial targets.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers by ensuring exceptional service and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with sales, finance, and parts departments to ensure a seamless and efficient service experience.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
  • Stay current on automotive industry trends and technological advancements to continuously improve service operations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 35 years of experience in a managerial role in the automotive service industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in dealership DMS systems and automotive software.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive technical and mechanical processes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
