Job Overview

Position Title: Production Line Supervisor

As a Production Line Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a production line across various departments such as Materials, Logistics, Warehouse, Aluminum, Caliper Machining, and Caliper Assembly. Your primary duties will include prioritizing production orders, ensuring the correct components are utilized, and facilitating effective communication between shifts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting lineside meetings to align team objectives.
  • Creating and managing production schedules.
  • Ensuring the line is equipped with the necessary parts.
  • Pulling parts as required to maintain workflow.
  • Training new team members on processes and safety protocols.
  • Enforcing compliance with personal protective equipment (PPE) standards.
  • Performing line checks using gauges, calipers, and other measuring instruments.
  • Filling in for positions that are short-staffed as needed.
  • Addressing employee concerns and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Ensuring adherence to the First In, First Out (FIFO) inventory process.
  • Implementing process improvements and 5S methodologies.
