About the Role

At Advanced Drainage Systems, we're looking for a skilled Line Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plastic extrusion lines, maintaining high-quality standards, and contributing to the success of our manufacturing process.


Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain plastic extrusion lines to produce high-quality products that meet customer specifications.
  • Conduct regular product sampling to ensure consistent quality and make adjustments as needed.
  • Perform tooling changeovers in a safe and efficient manner, minimizing downtime and ensuring production efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to perform repairs and adjustments to meet production needs.
  • Participate in the Preventative Maintenance program to ensure the longevity of our equipment.
  • Meet or exceed standard production efficiencies on all production lines.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous manufacturing machine operation or extrusion experience preferred.
  • Ability to work 40+ hours per week, including weekends and varying shifts.
  • Physical ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including standing, walking, and lifting.
  • Basic computer skills and analytical thinking required.
