Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement inventory management plans to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Collaborate with project managers and site operations to identify and resolve inventory-related issues.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Provide training and support to materials teams, technicians, and site management on inventory management best practices.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree from a two-year college or technical school and five or more years of related experience and/or training.
  • Five years of inventory or storeroom management experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing equipment parts and supplies.
  • Proficiency with computerized parts/maintenance management systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Working Conditions:

The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.

The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

The employee is occasionally required to taste or smell.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 75 pounds.

The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and risk of electrical shock.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
