As a valued member of the St. Croix Hospice team, the Hospice Aide plays a crucial role in delivering compassionate care to patients in need. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will ensure that our patients receive the highest quality of care in a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide essential personal care services, including bathing, grooming, and dressing, while maintaining a clean and safe living space.
- Foster respectful and confidential communication with patients and their families.
- Accurately monitor and document vital signs, assisting patients with self-administered medications as necessary.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding, ensuring dietary needs are met.
- Observe and report any changes in the patient's condition to the RN Case Manager.
- Support patients with mobility, exercises, and therapy activities to enhance their comfort and well-being.
