Sales Team Lead

Venture Solar is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Canvassing program in New York.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual to oversee the entire Canvassing program, responsible for driving sales growth and team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, interview, and hire top talent for Field Marketing Sales positions
- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for new Sales team members
- Establish and manage a high-performing team to service the New York area
- Coordinate daily logistics, including permitting and field locations, to ensure seamless operations
- Monitor and track key performance indicators to drive sales growth and team performance
- Manage administrative duties, including experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in canvassing or cold-calling, with a strong track record of success
- Ability to travel within the service area
- Excellent interpersonal, training, and management skills
- Strong ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
- Exceptional time management skills
Compensation:
- $50,000 base salary + uncapped commission
- Full benefits package after 30 days of employment
- Company 401K with match after 1 year of service
