Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Team Leader to join our team at AEO. As a Sales Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing sales team, driving sales and guest loyalty, and maintaining operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive Sales and Guest Loyalty: As a key leader, you will be an expert at driving sales by maximizing productivity and building guest loyalty through a best-in-class guest experience.
  • Lead and Develop Your Team: You will motivate and inspire your team through AEO's core values, holding them accountable to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Recruit and Train Top Talent: You will make it a top priority to recruit and hire strong talent to ensure the store is always staffed to meet business needs, and take pride in training and developing your team to ensure they continue to provide outstanding service.
  • Operational Excellence: You will consistently provide ongoing performance feedback through real-time coaching, make team touch bases, development plans, and performance reviews a priority, and drive associate engagement by celebrating your team's outstanding performance.
  • Visual Standards and Store Safety: You will support the team in maintaining visual standards throughout every zone in the store, ensure store safety standards are maintained, and adhere to AEO's policies and procedures.

  • You have led teams in a retail management role previously.
  • You can multi-task and have attention to detail, with strong priority-setting and time management skills.
  • You have a general understanding of employment law and business acumen.
