Job Summary

The Front-End Department Head is a key role at PGA TOUR Superstore, responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences in our stores. This includes overseeing the Club Services Desk and Front-End operations, ensuring consistent execution of product conversion processes, and handling returns and checkouts efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and oversee all Club Services and Front-End operations, providing valuable input into operational and merchandising decisions to drive sales and elevate the customer experience.
  • Act as the expert of the assigned department(s), leading by example and enforcing a high standard of customer service.
  • Manage conflict, lead conflict resolution, and hold others accountable for meeting objectives.
  • Participate in weekly department walks with the Sales and Service Manager to evaluate the state of the business and create worklists for Associates.
  • Assist in maintaining a premiere stock and visual level of Front-End and Services merchandise to drive sales and the customer experience.
  • Ensure all Club Services and Front-End areas, equipment, and supplies are clean, organized, and operational.
  • Responsible for basic club repair duties, G&T App Management, retrieving BOPIS orders, processing trade-ins, and other tasks as assigned.
  • Comply with all Loss Prevention policies and procedures to maintain store inventory accuracy and a safe and secure workplace.
  • Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.

Requirements:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate cross-functionally.
  • Basic computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook.
  • Ability to quickly learn business acumen with appropriate training.
  • Organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and allocate resources effectively.
  • Leadership skills, with the ability to lead by example and enforce a high standard of customer service.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and retail experience preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
