Job Title: Residential Care Coordinator

At CommQuest Services, we are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Residential Care Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing support and care for clients in our residential care program.

Job Summary

The Residential Care Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of all clients, both outpatient and residential, and visitors by monitoring and supervising client and visitor behavior at all times. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work with the public in general, and under pressure while maintaining common sense and the ability to assess situations quickly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with day-to-day activities to ensure clinicians can perform necessary group sessions, individual sessions, and case management to provide best client care.
  • Plan and assist with recreational and educational activities, demonstrating and maintaining facility communication skills.
  • Provide crisis intervention as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or GED; some college preferred.
  • Training and certification in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention within 90 days of hire.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Experience working in the field of addiction desired.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, intermediate verbal and written communication skills, ability to show discretion when dealing with confidential information, good judgment, and organizational skills.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • A valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and a driving record that is in compliance with agency insurance requirements.
  • Ability to pass a background check in accordance with agency standards.
Working Conditions

This is a non-exempt employee position, hourly, temporary, and grant-funded. The successful candidate must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to stand and climb steps frequently according to shift responsibilities.
