Job Title: Residential Counselor

At MAB Community Services, we are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Residential Counselor to join our team. As a Residential Counselor, you will play a vital role in providing support to participants in cluster homes, promoting their personal growth and community membership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct support to participants in cluster homes, including assistance with daily living activities, medication administration, and transportation.
  • Develop and implement person-centered support plans, ensuring participants' choices and needs are respected and met.
  • Collaborate with the Residential Coordinator and other team members to ensure a safe and clean home environment for all participants.
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records, adhering to MAB's policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree and/or related experience preferred.
  • Valid MA driver's license and ability to drive program vehicles and wheelchair vans.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with participants, families, and community professionals.
  • Comfort with computers and ability to learn new reporting software.
