Job Summary:

We're seeking a skilled Generator Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Generator Field Service Technician, you will perform technical inspections, verification inspections, preventive maintenance/repairs on various power generation equipment, tactical utility, precise power-generation sets, internal combustion engines, and associated equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform technical inspections, verification inspections, preventive maintenance/repairs on various power generation equipment, tactical utility, precise power-generation sets, internal combustion engines, and associated equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and replace starters, alternators, generators, fuel injectors, voltage regulators, switches, control circuits, etc.
  • Inspect and repair portable heater, fuel and electrical systems.
  • Use different welding techniques and skills to repair equipment.
  • Apply advanced technical knowledge to solve unusually complex problems.
  • Use complex electronic test instruments, computer-based diagnostic equipment, and load banks.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Lead.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of related experience.
  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • Valid Driver License.
  • Able to lift on an occasional basis a maximum of 50 pounds with frequent or constant lifting of 40 pounds.
  • Able to climb in and out of military/civilian vehicles and related equipment.
