Job Summary

Facilitates is seeking a highly skilled MEP Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our MEP team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing MEP systems across multiple projects. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Proficiently represent Facilitates and support company strategic initiatives
• Establish and foster positive long-term relationships with internal customers and business partners
• Execute Facilitates policies and procedures
• Embraces a lean culture and work environment
• Maintain excellent relationships with owners, design team, consultants, subcontractors, and project team members
• Develop and maintain start-up & commissioning schedules
• Assist with materials delivery / procurement of MEP items
• Master schedule update for MEP subcontractors
• Handle permitting process related to delegated/deferred permits
• Conduct constructability reviews of progress drawings
• Support MEP observation report corrections
• Monitor Mech/ Elect subcontractor performance
• Weekly MEP project observation report
• Field inspections/ Specification compliance
• Support Development QA plan for MEP trades
• Implement Facilitates' QA program relating to MEP trades
• Attend pre-award meetings and weekly MEP coordination meetings
• Assist in preconstruction efforts and procurement plans for projects, long and short led MEP trades
• Review subcontract agreements and owner contracts
• Accountable to the project manager for MEP related budgets, costs, and financials
• Execute essential functions across multiple projects
• On-site subcontractor management (if on-site over 20 hours a week)
• Mentor and train direct reports

Additional Responsibilities

• Assist with preplanning efforts in coordination with the Project Manager and Superintendent
• Create and maintain activity projections and weekly planners related to MEP trades
• Track production of MEP subcontractors
• On-site subcontractor management
• Confirm as-built drawings are maintained
• Facilitate 3D coordination drawing process
• Monitor testing records and reports
• Prepare and monitor Mechanical/Electrical submittals
• Review RFI's for accuracy prior to submittal
• Coordinate 3 party commissioning
• MEP consultant punch list items
• Integrated Project Delivery Process
• Activity projection and weekly planners

  • Pricing and change order management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering required or minimum ten (10) years field experience specific to mechanical/electrical systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficient in CMiC
• Proficient in Bluebeam
• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• 3D model simulation software
• Ability to play a key role in the Integrated Project Delivery process
• Robust knowledge of design build process
• Basic knowledge of reviewing and comprehending contract documents

  • OSHA 30 Certification is preferred
  • OSHA 10 preferred
  • CPR/First Aid Certified preferred

• Verifiable work references demonstrating exceptional accomplishments, leadership, and communication skills
• Successful completion of post-offer background & drug screens

Benefits

Facilitates offers a competitive salary range of $86,000 – 130,000 annually, dependent on experience and title/rank of position offered.
