About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Nephrologist to join our team at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. As a member of our division, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of healthcare professionals who are dedicated to providing exceptional care to children and adolescents.

Division Overview

Our division is a leader in pediatric nephrology, with a strong focus on clinical care, research, and education. We have a robust clinical program, with a high volume of pediatric kidney transplants and dialysis patients. Our team is committed to providing high-quality care and improving patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient care within the respective clinical area, complying with Professional Staff Bylaws, rules and regulations, and Children's policies and procedures.
  • Participate in and incorporate Quality Improvement and research findings into practice.
  • Provide and/or serve as a resource for patient/family and staff education.
  • Educate and assist trainees with medical decision making.
  • Provide an authenticated report of all physician services rendered and maintain accurate and complete records in an acceptable manner.
  • Complete necessary documentation and ensure timely communication to facilitate patient care and appropriate reimbursement.
  • Actively respond to patient and clinical staff questions and requests.
  • Participate in meetings/activities as required to support operations of the clinical area.

Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Nephrology.
  • Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Georgia.
  • BLS or PALS certification required.
  • Current DEA registration.
