Pediatric Endocrinologist

Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a board-certified pediatric endocrinologist to join our large and rapidly growing endocrinology group. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and families, providing high-quality medical care and education.
Responsibilities:- Provide patient care within the pediatric endocrinology clinical area, adhering to the Professional Staff Bylaws, rules, and regulations, as well as Children's policies and procedures.
- Participate in and incorporate quality improvement and research findings into practice.
- Provide and/or serve as a resource for patient/family and staff education.
- Educate and assist trainees with medical decision-making.
- Complete necessary documentation and ensure timely communication to facilitate patient care and appropriate reimbursement.
- Actively respond to patient and clinical staff questions and requests.
- Participate in meetings/activities as required to support operations of the clinical area.
- Participate in activities that enhance professional development, complete, and maintain certification in BLS, PALS, or NALS, and maintain any additional specialty training/certifications as required by the area assigned.
- Board certification in Pediatric Endocrinology.
- Graduate of an accredited, four-year medical school.
- Graduate of an accredited, post-graduate residency program in Pediatrics.
- Completion of an accredited fellowship program in Pediatric Endocrinology.
- Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Georgia.
- BLS or PALS certification required.
- Current DEA registration.
