Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled occupational therapy services as ordered by the attending physician, including assessments, interventions, and education to patients and their families.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care to promote patient independence and functional ability.
  • Collaborate with the occupational therapist to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Conduct home visits to assess patient needs and provide therapy services in a safe and effective manner.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and care provided.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) in the state of employment.
  • Minimum one year of experience as an OTA in an acute care setting, with home care experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and move patients as needed.
