Job Title: Occupational Therapist Assistant Home Health

Alternate Solutions Health Network LLC is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team in Kansas City, Kansas.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Occupational Therapist Assistant to provide high-quality care to our patients in a home health setting. As an OTA, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized plans of care that promote patient independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide skilled occupational therapy services to patients in their homes, as ordered by the attending physician.
  • Assess patient conditions and notify the Occupational Therapist of any changes.
  • Educate patients and their families on disease management and proper use of equipment.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with the Occupational Therapist to develop and implement treatment plans.
Requirements:
  • Current license as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in the state of employment.
  • Minimum one year of experience as an OTA in an acute care setting, with home care experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
  • Ability to lift and move patients as needed.
