Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Crane Operator to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of overhead cab cranes to lift, lower, transport, and position equipment, materials, and tooling with precision and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate overhead cab cranes to lift, lower, transport, and position equipment, materials, and tooling with precision and safety.
  • Select and attach rigging to ensure safe and efficient lifting and placement of loads.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in a clean, orderly, and safe condition.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on cranes and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and achieve project goals.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience operating overhead cab cranes and components.
  • Knowledge of crane machining equipment, materials, and tooling, and ability to follow established procedures.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and situations, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 7 years' experience operating overhead cab cranes and components.
  • Previous experience with crane operation in a manufacturing, naval, construction, or similar setting.
