Currently, we manage approximately 6,000 bed spaces across various cities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare GAAP-compliant monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, retained earnings, balance sheets, and cash flow reports, summarizing findings in clear and concise reports for management review.
- Accrue expenses for any pending invoices and wages earned but not yet disbursed by the end of the reporting period.
- Calculate depreciation and amortization for all fixed assets recorded in the accounting system.
- Adjust bank reconciliations and journal entries to align accounting records with bank statements.
- Compute payroll, including medical benefits and bonuses, and prepare final reports.

- Manage cash flow for all company operations: review cash balances, prepare cash forecasts, and calculate available funds for maintenance, equipment purchases, and payroll.

- Collaborate with department managers to ensure financial records comply with accounting standards and procedures.

- Assist supervisors in planning and executing monthly audits by reviewing company agreements, equipment and material purchases, payroll, employee benefits, and other financial transactions, drafting detailed reports on any financial mismanagement.

- Support the annual external audit by coordinating with staffing agencies, CPAs, and auditors to review work papers.
- Conduct quarterly audits to verify amounts and disclosures in financial statements by gathering audit evidence through inquiries, physical inspections, observations, third-party confirmations, examinations, and analytical procedures;
- Maintain accounting integrity by recommending policies and procedures for financial records.
- Undertake ad-hoc accounting projects and research as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the Real Estate sector with familiarity in Appfolio.

Preferred:
- CPA certification.

- Salary range: $75,000 - $100,000 annually. Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field. Candidates should have a solid understanding of financial accounting, cost accounting, financial reporting, and the ability to analyze operating costs and budgets. These qualifications align with industry standards and clearly define the position as one requiring specialized knowledge and practical application.
