Equipment Specialist

As a key member of our team at Precision Coating, we are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Engineer to join our ranks. This individual will be responsible for the design, building, and maintenance of process equipment, ensuring that our manufacturing processes are efficient and effective.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain control systems for semi-automated processing equipment.
- Ensure that equipment meets NFPA 79 standards.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical instruments and resolve issues.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production and R&D equipment.
- Develop and implement new process control systems.
- Train technicians on equipment operation.
- Oversee the Maintenance Program and Calibration Program.
- Develop and document procedures for training personnel.
- Create and manage drawings for production processes.
- Optimize equipment performance for maximum efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Engineering.
- Programming skills in LabVIEW.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex electro-mechanical equipment.
- Sound knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, plumbing, and high-vacuum systems.
- CAD experience, preferably in Fusion 360 or SolidWorks.
- Experience with National Instruments hardware.
- Good practical knowledge of digital and analog electronics.
- Ability to design control systems and motion control.
- Hands-on wiring skills.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Self-motivation and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and presentation skills.
