Job Title: Swing Driver

At Southwire, we are seeking a skilled Swing Driver to join our team. As a Swing Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods from our warehouse and distribution centers to customer locations and picking up goods from various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on trucks to ensure safe operation
  • Unload products from the truck to customer facilities while following safety procedures
  • Manage proof of delivery paperwork and maintain logs of vehicle repair status and working hours
  • Assist workers in loading and unloading trucks and check mechanical, electrical, and operational aspects of the vehicle
  • Identify damage, loss, or surplus of goods and materials and record amounts of materials or items received or distributed
Requirements:
  • Valid CDL Driver's License and compliance with DOT regulations
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and update paperwork
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
