We are seeking a motivated and personable Mobile Associate to enhance our team at Ameritel/T-Mobile. Previous experience in wireless or cellular retail environments is advantageous.

Role Overview:

The Mobile Associate (MA) thrives in a vibrant and energetic atmosphere. This position is crucial in delivering exceptional customer service within the retail space by assisting both new and existing clients with their specific technology requirements and resolving issues effectively. The MA should be adept at promoting and selling Ameritel products while differentiating them from competitors in the wireless sector, tailoring recommendations based on customer needs.

As a vital member of the store team, the MA will contribute to achieving the store's financial and customer service objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, including welcoming customers, managing phone inquiries, and assessing their needs.
  • Surpass monthly revenue and sales goals by acquiring new customer accounts and optimizing existing accounts for revenue opportunities.
  • Support all operations within the retail sales environment in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with store management on daily operations, including cash handling, inventory management, and compliance with operational standards.
  • Accurately complete paperwork and sales transactions as per company guidelines.
  • Assist customers with service activations, account changes, bill payments, and equipment inquiries.
  • Engage in service selling and effectively match customers with suitable technology solutions.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Retail, sales, or wireless experience is essential.
  • Experience in selling electronics and plans within a retail setting.
  • Strong customer service orientation and a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to analyze performance, plan strategically, and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexible availability and reliable transportation.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods on the sales floor.
