Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Care Partner at Chapters Living of Barrington. As a key member of our assisted living community, you will provide exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care to residents under the direction of licensed nursing staff, focusing on enhancing their overall quality of life.
  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Support residents with mobility and transfers, utilizing proper lifting and transfer techniques to prevent injury.
  • Observe and report changes in residents' physical and emotional conditions to nursing staff, ensuring prompt attention and care.
  • Collaborate with our culinary team to ensure meal service meets residents' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, including changing linens, making beds, and tidying up resident living areas.
  • Promote socialization and engagement among residents through participation in activities and events.
  • Document resident care and observations accurately and thoroughly, supporting informed decision-making.
  • Demonstrate effective communication and teamwork skills, fostering strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Certification as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in an assisted living facility, is preferred.

Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
