OhioHealth Radiation Oncology Team

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Physicist to join our team in central Ohio. As a key member of our Radiation Oncology team, you will provide clinical physics support to our care sites, including daily operations, quality assurance activities, and support for advanced treatments such as SBRT and SRS.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical physics support to our central Ohio Radiation Oncology care sites.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new treatment techniques and technologies.
  • Provide rotating coverage to other sites in the system and support all aspects of participation in clinical trials.

Qualifications:
  • ABR board certified or board eligible in Therapeutic Radiological Physics.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team.

System Wide Equipment:
  • Varian iX, Truebeams, Truebeam Novalis w HDMLC, and Halcyon.
  • Bravos HDR units, SRS at 3 care-sites, Cardiac brachytherapy, Aria/eclipse/velocity/insightive, GE RT Discovery, 4D CT, gated, breath-hold, prone.
  • Mobius/Doselab; Radformation (ClearCalc), Range of physics equipment including SRS mapcheck, IC profiler, MMWL, Wellhoffer scanning tanks.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Radiation or Medical Physics.
  • Successful completion of Part I of the American Board of Radiology (ABR) Certification in Physics in Radiation Therapy.

Work Environment:
  • Day shift.
  • 40 hours per week.
