Radiation Oncology Physicist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Physicist to join our Radiation Oncology team at Trinity Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and executing the Radiation Oncology Quality Assurance program, ensuring compliance with all radiation safety policies, guidelines and regulations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical physics and experience with treatment planning software, including Eclipse, Oncentra, Accuray Precision for CyberKnife, MIM, and Velocity. You will also be responsible for providing quality control checks and oversight of treatment plans to assure accurate treatment delivery, including patient specific QC.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and execute the Radiation Oncology Quality Assurance program
- Ensure compliance with all radiation safety policies, guidelines and regulations
- Provide quality control checks and oversight of treatment plans
- Assist with acquisition and evaluation of new equipment
- Develop and implement new treatment techniques
Requirements:
- Doctoral degree in Medical Physics or equivalent
- American Board of Radiology (or equivalent) certification, or complete certification within 3 years of hire
