The Corpus Christi Medical Center Bay Area is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse RN PACU PRN to join our team. As a critical care specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced perioperative environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift as scheduled and/or as needed, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with medical providers and other members of the care team to coordinate and deliver comprehensive care.
- Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests and anticipating patient needs.
- Teach patients and families about patient medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures.
- Manage a care team, providing oversight and delegation to members as appropriate.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to meet and exceed quality measures and enhance the exceptional care provided to patients.
- 1 year of applicable experience required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree in Nursing
