We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Grand Bohemian Charlotte. As a key member of our Housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and quality in our hotel rooms and public areas.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and manage the performance of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and profitable operations.
- Coach and train housekeeping staff to ensure superior products for guest satisfaction.
- Inspect guestrooms and provide feedback to housekeeping staff.
- Periodically inventory supplies and equipment.
- Effectively execute the flow of work through assigning tasks and ensuring compliance with company guidelines.
- Inspect and evaluate the physical condition of the hotel.
- Prepare and analyze reports on labor costs and production.
- Participate in daily line-ups and regular training/departmental meetings.
- Maintain supplies and report to the Executive Housekeeping Manager on items to be ordered for efficient operations.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and assist with corrective action to continuously improve service results.
- High school diploma or General Education Degree.
- 1+ years of relevant work experience in a similar scope and title.
- Experience within luxury brand/markets.
The work environment/conditions described herein are representative of those that an incumbent may experience. Must be comfortable working in a shared space, with constant noise, without the use of a private office. Must be able to cope with frequent changing priorities and deadlines with a high degree of optimism, professionalism & collaboration. Schedules may vary from week to week based on business demands in excess of 40 hours with or without notice.
