Position Overview:

This is a proactive recruitment initiative aimed at creating a talent pool for future opportunities. As a Healthcare Sales Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in our Abbott Point of Care (APOC) Division, focusing on the sales of critical medical diagnostic solutions to healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:

  • Drive sales growth by effectively managing your territory and executing sales strategies.
  • Maintain existing client relationships while pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Navigate complex sales environments and build rapport with multiple stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies while anticipating potential challenges and creating mitigation plans.
  • Utilize available resources efficiently to maximize sales potential.
  • Complete all administrative tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Travel up to 50% within your assigned territory to provide exceptional customer service and support business objectives.
  • Comply with all relevant EHS policies and contribute to the effectiveness of the Quality System.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in diagnostics, point of care (POC), laboratory, or capital equipment sales.
  • The ability to travel up to 50% within your designated territory.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Established connections within Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) and hospital systems.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office applications and CRM platforms.
  • Experience with various sales training methodologies.
