Job Description: As an Oncology Nurse Navigator at Duke Health, you will be part of a dedicated team that provides compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals affected by cancer. Your expertise will help bridge gaps in care, promote timely interventions, and enhance overall well-being.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing tailored plans
  • Engage patients and families in informed decision-making processes, promoting autonomy and empowerment
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement evidence-based care pathways
  • Monitor patient progress, adjusting interventions as needed to ensure optimal outcomes

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Advanced education in Nursing (MSN or DNP)
  • Minimum three years of oncology nursing experience; nurse navigation training preferred
  • Current compact RN licensure in North Carolina; BLS certification required
