Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Orscheln Industries. As a key member of our supply chain operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, including identification, location, and quantity of all parts within controlled storage areas.
  • Material Receipt and Inspection: Receive and inspect all purchased productive material, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Material Issuance: Supply production departments with materials as requested, adhering to strict quality control measures.
  • Inventory Control: Perform cycle counting duties as scheduled to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to 6S and safety guidelines, including lockout/tagout procedures, forklift operation, and hazard communication protocols.
  • Other Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by management to support the efficient operation of our warehouse.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: High school degree or equivalent preferred, with relevant experience in warehouse operations and forklift operation.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Basic math skills, scanner operation, impact on inventory, hazard communication, propane training, computer skills, lifting technique, PPE, reading skills, and ability to write legibly.
  • Physical Demands: Repetitive hand/arm movement, pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, lifting up to 35lbs, standing for long periods, limited sitting, and working in a heat-controlled environment.
