Job Title: Full-Time Driver

At Cox Automotive, we are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Full-Time Driver to join our team. As a Full-Time Driver, you will be responsible for safely moving, staging, and parking vehicles, as well as driving cars through Auction lanes on designated sale days.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive vehicles through Auction lanes on sale day in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Line up and park vehicles in the correct order as directed by the supervisor or team leader.
  • Assist with getting vehicles operating as needed, including inflating tires and jump-starting vehicles.
  • Notify the supervisor when a vehicle is inoperative or out of gas.
  • Assist customers and coworkers as needed.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods and constantly enter and exit vehicles.
  • Ability to walk long distances and regularly stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear.
  • Ability to lift 1-15 pounds.
  • Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous auction experience preferred.
Work Environment:

Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Moderate noise level.

Compensation:

Hourly pay rate is $17.79. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program.

Benefits:

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year.

Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, parental leave, and COVID-19 vaccination leave.
