About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Calendar Clerk to join our team at the Minnesota Judicial Branch. As a key member of our Scheduling and Interpreters Unit, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our court system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate calendar coverage needs and interpreter services for Hennepin County District Court.
  • Manage and track judicial time-off requests, ensuring accuracy and compliance with rules.
  • Coordinate the scheduling of interpreters, courtrooms, and other court-related resources.
  • Work with the Court Administrator and other supervisors to ensure adequate calendar coverage.
  • Monitor and track the availability of judges and court officials for future assignments.
  • Ensure accuracy of calendars daily, using the calendar functions in the Minnesota Court Information System (MNCIS).
  • Record and/or enter information in information databases and systems.
  • Promote and educate the Bench and judicial staff on policies and practices through effective communication.
  • Manage interpreter requests, securing interpreters for assignments and coordinating schedules.
  • Ensure coverage of Criminal Calendars and assignment of Judicial Officers according to policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of recent experience in a customer service or highly technical administrative position.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with scheduling and calendar management.
  • Paralegal, Associate, or bachelor's degree.
  • Experience working in the legal field or court setting.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
What We Offer

The Minnesota Judicial Branch offers a competitive salary range of $21.00 - $34.41 per hour, with a starting salary of at least $21.00 per hour. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health and wellness benefits, short- and long-term disability, pension, paid parental leave, tuition reimbursement, and more.
