Customer Service Representative, Insurance Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Service Representative to join our team at Rush Enterprises. As a key member of our Insurance Services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers and sales representatives.
Key Responsibilities- Handle day-to-day customer inquiries and requests, including preparing quotes, processing policy changes, and maintaining accurate records.
- Quote, maintain, and renew house accounts, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or written correspondence, providing clear and concise information about policies and coverage.
- Assist sales representatives with submissions and binding of coverage, including proposals, marketing, and documentation.
- Communicate with customers and insurance companies regarding ongoing service, policy changes, claims, and customer satisfaction.
- Collect down payments and process customer receipts, prepare invoices, and record payments for accurate accounting.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including monthly spreadsheets, to ensure compliance with agency and insurance company requirements.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree.
- A minimum of 1.5 to 2 years of related work experience in a similar position.
- Position requires Texas General Lines P & C license, which must be obtained within 60 days of employment.
- General Lines P & C license and/or other specific licenses required by the State Board of Insurance must be kept current and compliant.
