Job Title: Computed Tomography Technologist

Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in a short-term acute care hospital in Bronxville, New York.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Computed Tomography Technologist to work in our radiology department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computed tomography and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for computed tomography procedures, including explaining the procedure and positioning the patient
  • Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any emergencies that may arise
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate records of patient procedures and images
Requirements:
  • One to three years of experience as a Computed Tomography Technologist
  • Strong knowledge of computed tomography principles and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and follow hospital policies and procedures
