Job Description:

The Accounts Payable Coordinator role at a leading organization in Stony Brook, NY requires an experienced professional with excellent attention to detail and the ability to quickly learn new software systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Process and send invoices, payments, and financial documents promptly.
  • Maintain accurate data entry in PeopleSoft, AvidXchange, and OnBase.
  • Assist with Concourse and Concur transactions.
  • Review AP transactions for accuracy and completeness.
  • Resolve vendor and department inquiries, researching payment issues as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations, and assist with audits.
  • Maintain vendor/customer contact information.
  • Support AP operations, month-end close, and other assigned tasks.
