MGS Mfg. Group presents an excellent opportunity for a proficient Machine Builder to become a part of our dynamic team. The selected candidate will engage in the assembly and troubleshooting of mechanical components, hardware, and equipment to develop tailored machinery and robotic work cells.

  • Design and construct systems and sub-assemblies according to technical drawings and engineering specifications.
  • Assist in the integration and installation of machinery.
  • Diagnose and replace faulty components as necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with the project team to ensure the delivery of operational systems to clients.
  • Travel to client locations for machinery installation and reconfiguration.
  • Establish departmental objectives aligned with organizational goals.
  • Provide training to clients and assist in the creation of support documentation.
  • Propose enhancements for quality and cost efficiency.
  • Demonstrate the ability to wire and test machine circuits.
  • Support vendor communications for component procurement.
  • Perform additional assigned responsibilities.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification in Machine Building is advantageous.
  • 3-5 years of experience in machine assembly.
  • Background as a toolmaker or machinist is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of electrical circuits and the ability to interpret technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Expertise in machine tools and maintenance practices.
  • Capability to verify part compliance using measurement tools.
  • Self-motivated with strong communication abilities.
  • Experience in a collaborative team setting.
