CNC Machinist Specialist

Toolcraft Machining is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining complex precision components for multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC machines, including boring bars and vertical machining centers, to produce high-precision components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and drawings to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces.
- Determine tooling requirements, setup procedures, and control settings to ensure accurate and efficient machining operations.
- Monitor and adjust machine controls to prevent out-of-tolerance machining and ensure quality of product.
- Measure parts for conformance to blueprint specifications and GD&T.
- Assist in solving technical challenges and work problems, and recommend production improvement methods and equipment performance.
- 5+ years of CNC machining experience, with a focus on boring bar and vertical machining center operations.
- Ability to machine various metals of various grades, hardness, shapes, and conditions from simple to complex.
- Intermediate math skills, including algebra and trigonometry.
- Knowledge of CNC machine controls and programming.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Competitive salary range of $30-$40 per hour.
