Job Summary

International Marine and Industrial Applicators is seeking a highly organized and experienced Regional Equipment Manager to oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment at assigned job sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with project teams and leadership to ensure timely and efficient equipment service repairs, as well as managing equipment logistics and personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage entire equipment fleet, including blast and recovery equipment, compressors, paint pumps, and environmental components
  • Coordinate preventative maintenance and urgent equipment repairs with electricians and technicians
  • Create equipment-related spreadsheets to support project managers and superintendents
  • Work with project managers and superintendents on pre-planning required equipment needs
  • Organize equipment and documentation to ensure compliance with contracts, state regulatory requirements, and internal standards
  • Participate in job walks and customer meetings to ensure required support for equipment hook-up
  • Conduct training with equipment operators to ensure proper completion of inspection logs
  • Submit weekly reports to corporate, including equipment tracking spreadsheets, inspection logs, and out-of-service equipment reports
Requirements
  • High school diploma required; technical/trade school training and/or associate's/bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5-10 years of experience in a support management role, preferably in the sandblasting and painting industry
  • Knowledge of government processes for handling government and customer-furnished materials
  • Electrical knowledge and experience (480V and below)
  • Mechanical knowledge and experience
  • Highly organized with ability to schedule tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of products
Working Conditions
  • Requires average strength, physical dexterity, and agility
  • Must be able to regularly stand for long periods of time; work on scaffolds and ladders; work on top of machinery; work in confined spaces
  • May be exposed to extreme temperatures, high noise levels, toxic or caustic chemicals, fumes, airborne particles, outdoor weather conditions, dusty conditions, wet and/or humid conditions, hazardous machinery, confined spaces, precarious places, and work well in close proximity to other employees
