Job Overview

Position: Behavioral Health Technician (BHT-ABA)
Focus Area: Early Childhood Development

Compensation: Starting Rate $18 - $22 per hour based on prior training and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) interventions to clients aged 8 years and younger.
  • Work in various settings including our center, client homes, preschools, daycares, elementary schools, and community locations.
  • Receive ongoing training and supervision from a qualified Behavior Analyst (BA) or Behavior Consultant – ABA (BC-ABA).

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum one year of experience working with children, with or without behavioral health diagnoses.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
  • Three positive professional references, including one from a current or former supervisor.
  • Clear state-required background checks conducted within the past year.
  • Recent TB/Mantoux test results.
  • Completion of state-mandated reporter training within the last five years.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Completion of the 40-hour IBHS training in ABA or certification as a Registered Behavior Technician from the BACB.
  • Experience working with children with behavioral health diagnoses.
  • Training or experience in implementing ABA principles.
  • A commitment to pursuing a career in early childhood, ABA, education, psychology, or a related field.
