Child Behavioral Support Specialist

Position: Behavioral Health Technician (BHT-ABA)
Focus Area: Early Childhood Development
Compensation: Starting Rate $18 - $22 per hour based on prior training and experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) interventions to clients aged 8 years and younger.
- Work in various settings including our center, client homes, preschools, daycares, elementary schools, and community locations.
- Receive ongoing training and supervision from a qualified Behavior Analyst (BA) or Behavior Consultant – ABA (BC-ABA).

- Compensation for travel time and mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate for travel between clients.
- Complimentary ABA fieldwork supervision for those pursuing BCBA or PA Behavior Specialist Licensure.

We prioritize work-life balance by limiting service hours to Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum one year of experience working with children, with or without behavioral health diagnoses.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Three positive professional references, including one from a current or former supervisor.
- Clear state-required background checks conducted within the past year.
- Recent TB/Mantoux test results.
- Completion of state-mandated reporter training within the last five years.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completion of the 40-hour IBHS training in ABA or certification as a Registered Behavior Technician from the BACB.
- Experience working with children with behavioral health diagnoses.
- Training or experience in implementing ABA principles.
- A commitment to pursuing a career in early childhood, ABA, education, psychology, or a related field.
