Position Overview

This role at Owensboro Health is dedicated to enhancing the knowledge and skills of personnel across the Revenue Cycle departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designs and implements engaging training programs for Epic systems tailored for end users.
  • Applies effective adult learning principles and training methodologies utilizing Epic modules and associated applications.
  • Delivers both technical and operational training to new and existing employees on the functionalities of the Epic system within Revenue Cycle.
  • Sets training objectives and develops structured programs that include practical exercises and assessments of knowledge.
  • Works collaboratively with internal and external IT teams to uphold professional standards and quality assurance processes.
  • Supports daily operations, analytics, system evaluations, and produces a monthly communication update.
  • Oversees project management, team activities, and training timelines.
  • Engages in planning sessions with the Epic education team and provides continuous assistance to users.
  • Delivers support through in-person, phone, and remote channels while ensuring streamlined workflow processes.
  • Utilizes analytical tools to pinpoint knowledge deficiencies, identify team members needing guidance, and ensure effective application usage.
  • Contributes to instructional design, team development, and problem-solving initiatives for Epic application users.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of an Associate's degree in a relevant field is required upon hire.
  • Relevant experience may be accepted in place of a degree.
  • At least 2 years of pertinent experience is required.
  • No specific licensure, certification, or registration is necessary.

  • Capable of working with minimal supervision.
