Salary

The estimated salary range for this role is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year, depending on the specific work location within the San Francisco Bay area or New York City metropolitan area.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team in San Francisco, California. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing low-latency, massively-scaled, geo-distributed cloud services using a microservices architecture. You will collaborate with various partners, including Game Pass, Xbox Console, xCloud, Store, and Microsoft Accounts, to shape future investments in Family and Child experiences and build services to support new scenarios that accelerate growth in the gaming business.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java.
  • Passion for building world-class high-scale distributed Cloud Services.
  • Solid problem-solving and debugging skills associated with production services.
  • Good interpersonal skills such as building relationships, receiving and providing honest feedback from peers and partners, supporting your team.
