Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled RN Education Coordinator to join our team at Emory Healthcare. As a key member of our clinical education team, you will be responsible for identifying training needs and developing effective staff development programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training Program Development: Develop and implement training programs to meet the needs of our nursing staff, including curriculum design, instructional materials, and evaluation methods.
  • Staff Development: Provide educational support to nursing staff, including one-on-one coaching, group training sessions, and mentoring.
  • Logistics and Coordination: Coordinate training seminars, including arranging facilities, refreshments, and speakers.
  • Preceptorship: Serve as a preceptor for nurse teachers and nurse managers, providing guidance and support in their development.
  • Communication and Marketing: Develop and disseminate information about training programs to nursing staff, including course participation records and training course schedules.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in Nursing Education or related field required.
  • Experience: Four years of nursing experience, including one year of teaching experience, required.
  • Certifications: BLS certification required, ASCL preferred.
