About the Job

Matrix Design Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance software applications using Modern C++.

Job Responsibilities
  • Design and Develop Software: Create high-performance software applications utilizing Modern C++ (C++11/14/17/20).
  • Maintain Legacy Software Applications: Ensure existing software applications remain up-to-date and efficient.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with product managers, software engineers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Optimize Code: Focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability of codebase.
  • Conduct Code Reviews: Provide guidance and support to junior engineers to ensure they develop strong software engineering skills.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software development with a strong focus on Modern C++.
  • Skills: Proficiency in C++11/14/17/20, familiarity with the C++ Standard Library and Boost, experience with multi-threading, concurrency, and parallel programming, and knowledge of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
Benefits and Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this role is $120,000.
