Position: Cyber Security Architect

Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialized support in cyber security and systems architecture. This includes roles in ISSE/A&A, strategic initiatives, DevSecOps, management, and evaluation of new products.
Required Qualifications:
• The contractor team will assist the sponsor in navigating multiple IT systems through the Assessment and Accreditation (A&A) processes.
• Proven experience leading security accreditation initiatives for enterprise systems.
• Solid background in security engineering and network engineering.
• Experience in analyzing and documenting test outcomes.
• Familiarity with assessing systems against information assurance policies and regulations.
• Expertise in cyber security design and implementation.
• Experience with customer A&A workflows and the Risk Management Framework.
• Ability to provide intricate technical solutions in dynamic environments, including access management, encryption, process enhancements, organizational change recommendations, and collaboration with customer cyber security offices.
• Proficient in analyzing security threats and vulnerabilities, drawing conclusions, and prioritizing remediation efforts.
• Knowledgeable in systems and security engineering, software development lifecycle, DevSecOps, and customer cyber security regulations, policies, and standards.
• Expertise in network design, security architecture, and identifying security vulnerabilities with proposed solutions.
• Assess patch and vulnerability management, provisioning, and terrain management while assisting with process improvements.
• Capable of communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including providing recommendations to a diverse group of senior leaders.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with offensive security methodologies.
• Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools.
Education/Certifications:
o Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
o Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
