Job Title: Charge Nurse LPN

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Charge Nurse LPN to join our team at SKLD Beltline. As a Charge Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care to our residents and ensuring the smooth operation of our nursing unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess residents' conditions and develop individualized care plans to ensure their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications, performing treatments, and assisting with daily living activities.
  • Supervise and mentor Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) to ensure high-quality care and adherence to facility policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate resident care, including scheduling appointments and consulting with physicians.
  • Monitor and report any changes in resident condition, including injuries, illnesses, or concerns.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance resident care and safety.

Requirements:

  • Current state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
  • CPR certification.
  • One year of professional nursing experience in a long-term care setting, preferred.
  • Knowledge of applicable state nursing regulations and laws.
