Charge Nurse LPN

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Charge Nurse LPN to join our team at SKLD Beltline. As a Charge Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care to our residents and ensuring the smooth operation of our nursing unit.
Responsibilities:- Assess residents' conditions and develop individualized care plans to ensure their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications, performing treatments, and assisting with daily living activities.
- Supervise and mentor Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) to ensure they are providing high-quality care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate resident care and ensure seamless transitions between shifts.
- Monitor and report any changes in resident condition, including falls, injuries, or illnesses.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and satisfaction.
- Current state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- CPR certification.
- One year of experience in long-term care or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize responsibilities.
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in electronic medical records.
