Responsibilities:
  • Assess residents' conditions and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications, performing treatments, and assisting with daily living activities.
  • Supervise and mentor Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) to ensure high-quality care.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and Unit Managers to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote resident-centered care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of care and services provided.
Requirements:
  • Current state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
  • CPR certification.
  • One year of professional nursing experience in a long-term care setting (desired but not required).
  • Knowledge of applicable state nursing regulations and current federal and state laws and regulations that apply to the practice of nursing in a long-term care setting.
