Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating students with communication disorders, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with teachers and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' communication skills, including speech, language, and cognitive abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication needs, including speech therapy, language therapy, and cognitive therapy.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and other professionals to ensure that students receive comprehensive support and services.
  • Provide regular progress reports to parents and teachers, and participate in IEP meetings to ensure that students' communication needs are being met.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in speech-language pathology and participate in ongoing professional development to ensure that students receive the highest quality services.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Active state license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Previous experience in school and/or pediatrics strongly preferred.
  • Experience with IEPs and other special education processes preferred.
