Job Summary

Soliant Health is seeking three full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join a supportive school district in a dynamic elementary school setting. This is an excellent opportunity to provide essential speech and language services to students across two buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary students.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) to address student needs.
  • Therapy Sessions: Conduct therapy sessions using evidence-based practices, both individually and in small groups, to promote student progress.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress and provide training and resources on speech and language development and intervention strategies.
  • Record Keeping and Progress Monitoring: Maintain accurate records of student assessments, progress, and therapy outcomes, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student needs and progress.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program and valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of Washington.
  • Certification and Experience: Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification as a School SLP and previous experience working in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Skills and Qualities: Strong understanding of speech and language development and disorders, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
