Assistant Superintendent

Job Summary

We are seeking an Assistant Superintendent (Electrical) to join the $4.2 billion New Terminal Project at JFK Airport. The Assistant Superintendent will be responsible for providing support to the Project Managers and Superintendents and responsibilities include but aren't limited to: performing field measurements, communicating results and quantities to the project team, and reinforcing communications of project milestones and schedules to foremen and other project participants.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and modifying project schedules, providing additional insights on weekly guidance and rationale for contingencies.
• Join on-site reviews with General Contractors to better understand scope and required coordination for a job.
• Perform field measurements, communicating results and quantities to the project team.
• Reinforce communications of project milestones and schedules to foremen and other project participants.
• Coordinate with project management to ensure timely completion of change orders.
• Aid in recognizing and resolving on-site challenges and issues.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 2-5 years of construction experience including large projects, CM at Risk and/or Design-Build.
• Airport experience is a plus, but not required.
• Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products.

Salary: $100,000-$125,000
