Job Description

The ideal candidate will design and test all aspects of mechanical equipment by performing various functions, including:

  • Analyzing research data and product specifications to determine feasibility
  • Conferring with research personnel to clarify or resolve problems and develop designs
  • Preparing or directing the preparation of product layouts and detailed drawings
  • DIRECTING AND COORDINATING MANUFACTURING OR BUILDING OF PROTOTYPE PRODUCTS OR SYSTEMS.

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering from a four-year college or university, as well as one to two years of related experience and/or training in the metal fabrication industry.

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year

Average salary range based on national data and taking into account the location and industry.
